Nicholas Meat was founded more than 30 years ago in the beautiful Sugar Valley of central Pennsylvania. Originally known as Nicholas Meat Packing Company, our humble beginnings continue to drive us today as we produce delicious beef products for our many customers who, in turn, provide beef to families in the U.S. and abroad. Our passion for the beef industry and the pursuit of excellence have kept us innovating through the years.
Our passion and resilience was shown after a 2005 fire destroyed our facility and left people without jobs.
We decided our story would not end there. Against many odds, we rebuilt on our original location. Hard work, perseverance, a pursuit of excellence in safety and quality, and our passion for the industry have led us to where we are today.
These core tenets are still in place: we still strive for quality, safety and excellence. Today we’re blessed to provide jobs to over 350 hard-working people who share our commitment to excellence.
If you drive by our facility, construction is evident. It represents our belief that more is possible and speaks to our innovative spirit as we produce beef in the most sustainable way while protecting the natural resources in the area we call home.
